Documents not issued in English or German generally require an official translation. Upload original and translated versions where instructed.
Work-experience proof should show organization, position, dates, full-time or part-time status, weekly hours where available and main duties.
Create one folder for each university/course because the upload rules may differ. Even when two courses ask for similar documents, file names, portal fields, signatures, translations or combined PDFs can be different.
Use clear file names that a reviewer can understand without opening every file. Avoid names such as scan1.pdf or final-final-new.pdf. A safer pattern is surname-document-course, for example Khan-CV-MPP.pdf or Khan-Transcript-English.pdf.
The DAAD checklist is not just a reminder for the applicant. It helps the course office see that the file is complete and that the applicant followed programme instructions. If a checklist requires a hand signature, do not type your name and assume it is enough.
Before submission, compare the checklist against the university page. If the university asks for additional course-specific documents, those are also part of your real checklist even if they are not the first items you noticed on DAAD.
